When did you start tattooing, what was your background and which was the main reason behind the choice?
My life long journey with tattooing began in 2014 when I started my apprenticeship here at Revolution Tattoo. I’m very grateful and proud to have been with the shop from its beginning, and to have watched it grow to the powerful force it has become!
Tattooing has allowed me to live passionately, pursue my calling, and to follow my love for art and creating. I love working with a client to create a meaningful tattoo that they can be proud to show off. I love being able to create an original custom piece of art specifically tailored to that cleint’s passions, interests, and lifestyle.
What are your passions?
My passions include, but are not limited to: Art, Tattooing, music, skateboarding, traveling, and design.
Is it important for you to paint?
I believe it’s very important for a tattoo artist to continue to paint outside of doing tattoos. It helps my creativity to continue to flow, painting teaches me new techniques that I can apply to my tattooing, and it’s honestly just a lot of fun! I love to constantly have multiple paintings to work on.
Who or what influences you?
I take influence and inspiration from all aspects of life. Whether it be ancient Japanese woodblock prints, other artist, impending dystopian A.I. future, nature, anime, music, or a life experience.
It’s also very inspiring to work around a group of artist who are also very motivated and passionate about creating.
What do you enjoy doing when you're not tattooing clients?
If I’m not tattooing chances are I’m either drawing for an upcoming tattoo appointment(s), working on a current painting, sketching a new idea for a painting, or spending time with my wife.
